Katty joined our team after repeatedly interrupting Zoom sessions and demonstrating an intuitive understanding of human emotional needs, mainly by demanding attention at critical moments. She now works full-time in a supervisory role, overseeing all therapeutic operations by sitting on chairs that clearly belong to someone else.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative: equal parts purring, headbutting, silent judgment, and gently pawing at anyone who appears too serious. Katty believes strongly in immediate emotional expression, especially when expressing hunger, boredom, or a strong opinion about the placement of cushions.
Katty is currently conducting groundbreaking research into whether humans can be trained to open the treat drawer faster. Early results are promising. Outside of sessions, she practises self-care with impeccable discipline: stretching, sunbathing, napping, snack-seeking, and occasional existential contemplation from the top of the sofa.
Katty’s personal philosophy is simple: healing happens best after a nap. Meow!!
