I have always enjoyed trying to understand people and behaviour, which led me to a Bsc in Psychology, since then I have experience gained through volunteering with Mind as a peer support mentor and have worked with young people to support their wellbeing and mental health within various educational settings as a Learning Support Assistant. These experiences have reinforced my passion to support people when they are at their most vulnerable point and give them a space to explore their inner thoughts in a calm supportive environment.
I am currently training on my Level 4 Therapeutic Diploma in Counselling and am also volunteering to support women who have experienced domestic violence as a telephone support worker.
My goal is to create a safe, collaborative environment where you can speak openly. I aim to work together with my clients and will dive into your experiences to uncover deeper insights and build practical emotional wellbeing. I will move at your speed, focusing on developing the self-awareness necessary for meaningful change.
I work in a person-centered way which is rooted in the belief that simply feeling understood can be a powerful catalyst for growth and the client is in charge of their own therapeutic change. That’s why I focus on building a relationship rooted in genuine empathy and respect. To ensure you receive the best care possible, I work reflectively and maintain consistent clinical supervision. This allows me to provide a safe, ethical space where your wellbeing is always the priority.
