I have worked within clinical settings since 1999 and qualified as a counsellor in 2004. Since then, I have supported clients in private practice and expanded into supervision and lecturing from 2007 onwards. My supervision experience includes working with organisations such as the Priory, RAPT, Centre 70, Housing for Women, the NHS, Victim Support, Lambeth Council, Gordon Moody, Place2Be, and counselling teams across primary, secondary, and higher education. I currently supervise school counsellors nationally and internationally, alongside work with Solace Women’s Aid, Rape Crisis, Islington Council, Brixton Prison, and within my own practice. I also see clients through BUPA, Victim Support and Global GE. My teaching background includes delivering counselling skills, health and social care, and specialist subjects on BACP-accredited Diploma and Supervision programmes.
My supervision approach is collaborative, supportive, and centred on your professional development. I aim to create a reflective and non-judgemental space where you feel comfortable bringing your full caseload. Together, we explore client work, therapeutic challenges, ethical considerations, and your growth as a practitioner. I seek to balance support with constructive challenge, helping you feel grounded, confident, and resourced in your work.
I work integratively, drawing from a range of therapeutic models and tailoring the process to the needs of each supervisee or client. My style is relational, reflective, and informed by values of equality, diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness. I have particular interest in group dynamics, transcultural practice, and risk, which continue to shape my supervision and teaching. My goal is to foster insight, ethical practice, and a strong therapeutic presence in those I support.
