Hello, my name is Anna. I am an integrative counsellor and CBT therapist (BACP accredited) with over 10 years of experience supporting people through anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, neurodiversity, and major life transitions. I am in the final year of my doctorate in Counselling Psychology at the University of Roehampton and I am also a trainee practitioner in EMDR. I have worked across private practice, charities, NHS primary and secondary care, and university settings, and I bring this varied experience into my work. I aim to offer a grounded, warm, and safe space where you can explore what is happening in your life.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply need someone to truly hear you, I’m here to help. My approach is collaborative and paced according to your needs, giving you space to reflect and make sense of your inner world. Together, we explore how your experiences, beliefs, and relationships are impacting your wellbeing. You can expect a calm, confidential, and non-judgmental environment where your pace is respected. The work is shaped around your goals—whether that’s managing anxiety, improving relationships, healing from the past, or finding clarity and direction.
My research interests include attachment, relationships, trauma, addictions, and recovery from narcissistic relationships. I am drawn to how early experiences shape the way we relate to ourselves and others, and how healing relationships—both in and outside therapy—can foster resilience and growth.
My style is relational, warm, and grounded in empathy. I draw from integrative counselling, CBT, EMDR principles, and trauma-informed practice, choosing what best fits your needs. I pay attention to both your emotional experience and the wider context of your life—your relationships, identity, culture, and history. My aim is to help you feel understood, supported, and empowered as we work toward meaningful change.
