I am Mine (She/Her), an UKCP-registered trainee psychotherapist with a background in Psychology and Mental Health, including a BSc in Psychology (Honours), an MSc in Developmental Sciences, a PGDip in Mental Health Studies, and an MSc in Transactional Analysis (currently in progress).
I have more than six years of NHS experience across Talking Therapies, acute mental health, and my current role as a Health and Wellbeing Coach, alongside working with a mental health charity.
As a neurodivergent person who immigrated to the UK from Turkey nearly half of my life ago, I have a personal understanding of navigating change, identity, belonging, and cultural differences. These experiences have deepened my empathy for people finding their own way while maintaining connections with their roots and adapting to new environments.
I recognise that everyone brings their own experiences, values, culture, relationships, and ways of making sense of the world. I aim to meet you where you are, without assumptions about what your experience should look like. My role is not to tell you how to live your life, but to support you in developing greater awareness, understanding, and choice.
My approach is grounded in relational Transactional Analysis (TA) and Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP). I believe that, together, we can explore relational patterns, messages, and expectations shaped in the past that may still influence your life. Therapy can support greater autonomy, more meaningful relationships, and the freedom to experiment with new ways of thinking, feeling, communicating, and relating. I speak Turkish and English and have experience of, and enjoy, working with people from diverse backgrounds.
