I am a trainee counsellor and student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), with a professional background in people-focused roles involving leadership, safeguarding and supporting wellbeing. I am currently completing a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and undertaking a supervised trainee placement, working in line with professional and ethical standards.
I believe in the powerful benefits that counselling can bring, supporting people to develop deeper self-understanding and insight.
I offer a calm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore what matters to you, at your own pace. We work together to help you navigate challenges in life, with sessions shaped collaboratively and with respect for your experiences. I aim to listen carefully and walk alongside you as you make sense of what you are experiencing, whether that involves focusing on present-day concerns or reflecting on earlier experiences and how they may be affecting you now.
I work integratively, with a strong person-centred foundation, drawing on psychodynamic and cognitive approaches where helpful. I value reflection, self-awareness and the therapeutic relationship, and adapt my approach to meet each client’s individual needs. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and that my role is to bring professional knowledge and support to help you move forward.
