My passion for people prompted me to go into this profession. I am an integrative level 4 trainee counsellor (Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling) and a registered student member of the BACP. I also have qualifications in level 2 counselling skills and level 3 counselling studies. My second language is Yoruba.
I offer a safe and confidential space to explore life’s challenges and difficulties. I am committed to providing non-judgemental therapy for you to share your thoughts and feelings. It is my desire to empower and encourage positive change throughout the therapeutic process while providing my clients with autonomy and control of their own therapy. I will offer a safe environment for you to bring whatever you wish to each session. My aim is to build a therapeutic relationship built on trust, and empathy that enables you to explore, challenge and understand your inner self.
I practice from an integrative approach stemming from person centred approach (Humanistic) and Psychodynamics. Person centred therapy means I believe that you are the expert in your life even though we may sometimes encounter challenges that feel too difficult to navigate. Whilst psychodynamics is exploring together your past. I will work with you to support you work through those difficulties at a pace that is comfortable for you. As no one size fits all, my integrative approach means I can adapt to meet your needs and blend therapy to your unique situation, bringing in different methods and techniques as and when needed.
