About me

About Katty

Hello, my name is Claudia. I am an accredited psychotherapist, qualified clinical supervisor, and registered social worker with over 12 years of experience working in private practice, charities, schools, and NHS services. I am also a CPCAB-approved tutor for Levels 2, 3, and 4 in Counselling and a qualified teacher with extensive experience in education and training. My main therapeutic approach is Adlerian psychotherapy, which focuses on understanding how early life experiences, family relationships, and deeply held beliefs influence the way we think, feel, and relate to others. I also draw on psychodynamic, person-centred, and cognitive behavioural approaches, tailoring my work to the individual needs of each person.

I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, childhood abuse, low self-esteem, neurodiversity, and the emotional impact of long-term health conditions, including cancer.

Alongside my clinical work, I teach and support counselling students and trainee therapists, and I am in the final year of my doctorate in Counselling Psychology at the University of Roehampton.

How I work with you

I offer a warm, thoughtful, and supportive space where therapists can reflect on their clinical work, develop confidence, and grow professionally. My aim is to help supervisees think more deeply about their clients, work safely and ethically, and build their own unique therapeutic style.

My therapeutic style

My goal is to provide a safe and encouraging environment where therapists feel supported, challenged, and inspired to become confident, compassionate, and effective practitioners.

Mindful Team.
