About me

About Katty

Hello, my name is Simran. I am a BACP-registered Integrative Counsellor and I am currently completing my Masters in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (L7).

I come to this work with over a decade of experiencing working within the NHS, first as a mental health pharmacist working across acute and community settings  and then within project based transformation.

Since starting my training, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients in both short and long-term therapy across the NHS, low-cost therapy services, and educational settings.

How I work with you

Therapy with me offers an open, non-judgemental supportive space to be witnessed and met as you are.

Together, we’ll explore what you’re experiencing and how this is shaped by your past and wider context. We will gently explore your feelings, relationship patterns, and how you make sense of your experiences, helping you develop deeper self-understanding and connection to yourself and others.

I am committed to creating an inclusive, anti-racist, and anti-oppressive practice that welcomes individuals from all backgrounds. My work is shaped by an awareness that our lived experiences and sense of self are influenced by the wider contexts we move through. I aim to meet you within the full context of your life with curiosity, respect and care.

My therapeutic style

As an Integrative Counsellor, I am guided by your needs and what feels most important for you. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic, body psychotherapy, person-centred, existential and transpersonal.

I view therapy as a collaborative process, with our relationship at the heart of the work. Together, we can use this space to explore how you experience relationships, in other areas of your life.

Mindful Team.
