I bring many years of experience in mental health and social care management, where I have supported adults and families in navigating a wide range of personal challenges. Working at a grassroots community level has given me a deep understanding of the everyday realities people face. Alongside this, I volunteer with community groups, supporting individuals affected by the cost-of-living crisis and raising awareness around brain health.
In addition to my counselling training, I work as a self-employed Life and Relationship Coach, supporting people to feel empowered and move towards meaningful, goal-oriented change.
I work in an integrative way, recognising that each person is unique and that no single approach fits everyone. Together, we will find a way of working that feels right for you, drawing on different therapeutic approaches to best support your needs. I also incorporate psychodynamic thinking where helpful, exploring how past experiences may be shaping your current thoughts, feelings, and relationships.
My practice is grounded in a person-centred approach. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and I offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace.
I aim to create a warm, respectful, and non-judgemental environment where you feel able to share openly. Through empathy and genuine listening, I support you to feel heard, understood, and accepted.
I am committed to ongoing professional development and work within ethical and professional guidelines, supported by regular supervision to ensure safe and reflective practice.
